Background: Los Cedros Reserve is part of the Chocó bioregion, which is considered one of the global hot spots of endemism and biodiversity, and heavily affected by illegal deforestation and other environmental problems. Los Cedros is working to protect and investigate the cloud forests of the region.

Specific Activities: Trail maintenance, assistance to scientists of the research station, reforestation, animal monitoring, general maintenance jobs for the research station.

Minimum Duration: 15 days

accommodation at Los Cedros research station, full board, introduction and full training for your work, certificate of  participation, discounts on tours with Runa Tupari (10-50%, depending on tours and dates)

Recommended: work clothes that may get dirty

Programme costs are between 15-20 USD per day, depending on length of stay and number of participants.
