Description: In the morning we take private transportation to the El Ángel Ecological Reserve where we will hike to Lake El Voladero (~ 2 hours), passing thousands of frailejones (Espeletia pycnophylla), a plant endemic to the area. We continue our tour with a visit to a masks workshop in Mascarilla, and finally Salinas, where we first have lunch, and then visit the local Salt Museum and the Ethnographic Showroom. Later on, we board the Liberty Train to Ibarra, and from there we return with private transportation to your accommodation.
