Description: In private transport we will travel to a ranch where we start our horseback ride (3 hours) through native forests and indigenous villages where you can observe the daily life of the local families. We return on horseback to the ranch and private transport carries you back to town.

Total Duration: ~4 hours
Note: There is also a 5-hour horse riding (LCT-5a), where we additionally visit Lake Cuicocha.
– 9am: start** at meeting point Runa Tupari office in Otavalo (pick-up from hotel in Otavalo is possible), drive to La Calera (~30min)
– 9:30am: horse riding (~3hours) in the countryside around the community La Calera
– 1pm: return to Otavalo, end of tour

** This tour can also be done in the afternoon (start 2pm, return Otavalo 6pm)
