Description: Enjoy a 5-hour horseback ride through the beautiful Andean countryside and indigenous communities of La Calera to the stunning Cuicocha Lake. Along the way, experience local rural life and breathtaking scenery. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to explore the viewpoints or take an optional boat tour on the lake. Afterward, ride back to the ranch and return to town by private transportation.

Tour Itinerary*
– 09:00 – meeting point Runa Tupari office in Otavalo (pick-up from hotel in Otavalo is possible), drive to Morocho (~30min)
– 09:30 – start of ride to Cuicocha Lake (2-3 hours)
– 12:30 – arrival at Cuicocha Lake, break (~60min)
– 13:30 – ride back to morocho (2 hours)
– 16:00 – return to Otavalo, end of tour
